Catalina is the first student from the Universidad de Costa Rica in our new internship program! Catalina recently received her degree in veterinary medicine and she has already had to put her skills to work – day 2 in Santa Rosa and she assists with a necropsy on a newly deceased infant capuchin. The samples taken from the infant will be used for genetic research by Amanda Melin’s lab.
